Scenic Hudson's Environmental Education Program offers hands-on learning opportunities, presentations, and resources to students, teachers and community groups. Our mission is to increase appreciation of critical natural resources and convey the importance of living by an environmental ethic.
Scenic Hudson's Parks & Preserves provide an ideal natural setting that allow students and families to learn about wetlands, vernal pools, watersheds, wildlife habitats and environmental stewardship. Currently school programs are conducted at Black Creek Forest Preserve, Esopus Meadows Preserve, Madam Brett Park and Shaupeneak Ridge Cooperative Recreation Area.
To learn more about our Environmental Education Program visit Kids Only, Speakers Bureau, Green Tips and Teachers Lounge. Also, see Internships. |
