Great River Sweep
The Great River Sweep is an all-volunteer cleanup of Hudson River shorelines, tributaries and public places. For one week in April, hundreds of communities join to save the river. Scenic Hudson recruits and supports teachers and school groups to organize and participate in cleanups.

As an optional companion to your cleanup, we offer the following educational activities, lessons and resources. The materials have been designed to meet the needs of school and community groups as well as at-home educators, and are appropriate for a range of ages.
