Scenic Hudson offers interns the opportunity to gain practical experience in a broad range of environmental issues and nonprofit administration while
working with members of our expert staff.
Involved in virtually all aspects of Scenic Hudson's work, interns assist with administrative efforts, advocacy and community outreach campaigns, educational programs, fund raising efforts, natural resource protection and park maintenance projects, and many other initiatives in support of our mission to protect, preserve and restore the Hudson River and its riverfront as a public and natural resource.
Internships are typically one semester in length and consist of a project designed collaboratively by the intern and the staff supervisor. Unless otherwise stated, all internships are unpaid.
To apply for one of this semester's internships, or to learn more about our
program, contact Joe Kiernan at (845) 473-4440, ext. 265, or jkiernan@scenichudson.org. You
may also submit your inquiry to our general volunteer e-mail address at volunteer@scenichudson.org.
